About Ben Alexander, DDS
Dr. Ben Alexander was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Ben’s treatment philosophy is centered around the golden rule, treating all of his patients the way he would expect to be treated. He values the relationships and trust he is able to build with his patients. He also understands that each individual patient has specific and unique dental needs and is committed to providing the best dental care to each and every person.
Dr. Alexander holds certifications in nitrous oxide sedation, oral conscious sedation and Invisalign clear aligner therapy. He is also a graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington.
The Kois Center is one of the premier postdoctoral dental educational and training facilities in the world providing advanced training in comprehensive dental care and esthetic dentistry. The Kois Center focuses on “advancing dentistry through science” to provide predictable and successful outcomes.
With his unique training, Dr. Alexander is able to treat occlusal disorders (bite problems),detect occlusal disorders early to prevent tooth wear and loss, restore severely worn teeth by providing full mouth rehabilitation and achieve optimal esthetic results for each patient.
Ben is married to Jamie, who is also a dentist. Jamie practices in Dallas in a Public Health dental clinic serving the needs of the greater metro area. They have a son and daughter and have resided in the East Dallas neighborhood of Lakewood since 2013. Prior to assuming Lakewood Restorative Dentistry, Ben owned a private practice in McKinney, Texas for almost a decade, but longed to serve the community in which he resides. Outside of the office, Ben enjoys snow skiing, spending time outdoors, listening to live music, riding mountain bikes with his two kids, cooking new recipes with Jamie and staying active with exercise.
